Kim Diep comes by her work ethic honestly – by watching her parents.
Her family moved from Vietnam when she was young. They settled in Calgary, but the experience was remarkable.
Her father immediately started work in a small town 30 minutes north of the city. He took a bus every day and did back-breaking work with fellow immigrants.
Work eventually opened up in the city, so her father worked two jobs – days and nights. When Kim was older, she watched her mom work evening shifts doing heavy labour.
Her voice bubbles with pride when Kim talks about her parents’ journey. Their work ethic crafted their success ¬– and shaped her path.
“So, I work hard,” she says without hesitation.
All through high school, university and law school, Kim continued to push herself. She felt that she had something to prove.
Today, Kim’s hard work is paying off. She is a bright light at McComb Witten Marcoux. Her work ethic blends seamlessly with the firm.
Kim knows that you do not have to be the loudest person in the room to be the most persuasive. Her quiet confidence says it all.
The hard work is just a given.
